The Big Dog Surveillance System offers the latest in recording quality providing sharp, crystal clear digital images at up to 30 frames per second per camera, with two resolution options: LOW 352 x 240 and HI 704 x 480.Enjoy fluid motion for both live recording and archived playback.

The frames per second can be configured by the user, and can play an important role in conserving storage space. Higher frame rates will yield a better image quality, but will also use more hard drive space.


Standard and advanced text insertion options are available to integrate Point-of-Sale data. Data is overlaid to specified images during recording periods. This option is compatible with most existing POS systems. Information is searchable with time and date parameters.View live and recorded video with actual cash register transaction detail, allowing management to verify register activity.


	Built-in smart technology records only when movement is detected. Using the motion detection option increases recording storage by up to 42%. Multiple detection options are available, including: motion, sensitivity, size of movement, and selectable areas. All options can be optimized to perform to individual preference on select or multiple cameras, at varying times of operation.

Systems can be set for notification of errors or unexpected violations and can also be monitored through email and wired or cellular phones.

Example: If your system is set for motion detection through the night hours, and unauthorized movement is detected at 2 a.m., the system can update and notify you via email of the occurrence while taking snapshots with the exact time and date of the event.

An installed Pan/Tilt/Zoom camera can be operated with precise control and maximum precision. Built-in programming options and multiple protocols maximize PTZ performance.You’ll have the ability to zoom in on cash registers, license plates, etc.

Pan/Tilt/Zoom cameras can be controlled via remote access or from the main console, and can be set to your exact preferred position.

The 4-channel BD500 DVR units have the ability to record up to 3 months of sharp streaming video without overlapping or using additional external devices.External storage devices can be used to increase recording longevity seamlessly.	___	With a few simple buttons previewing history, dates, times and cameras is a breeze. The included front door panel is lockable to prevent unwanted tampering.	___	The BD1000 series Big Dog Surveillance System is built with a a hard drive dedicated to storing data ranging from 1TB to 3TB standard, depending on the model. Systems can be upgraded with up to 12TB of storage. Alternative storage devices include flash or jump drives and external hard drives, as well as removable drive bay or network storage.
