The frames per second can be configured by the user, and can play an important role in conserving storage space. Higher frame rates will yield a better image quality, but will also use more hard drive space.


	Built-in smart technology records only when movement is detected. Using the motion detection option increases recording storage by up to 42%. Multiple detection options are available, including: motion, sensitivity, size of movement, and selectable areas. All options can be optimized to perform to individual preference on select or multiple cameras, at varying times of operation.

Systems can be set for notification of errors or unexpected violations and can also be monitored through email and wired or cellular phones.Example: If your system is set for motion detection through the night hours, and unauthorized movement is detected at 2 a.m., the system can update and notify you via email of the occurrence while taking snapshots with the exact time and date of the event.
